Rebecca Kelly Ballet to Premiere “Desire” at Lake Placid Center for the Arts
Rebecca Kelly Ballet will premiere “Desire,” a new ballet choreographed by Kelly on July 30th at the Lake Placid Center for the Arts.
Considering the many facets of desire, Kelly has created an exciting mood of restless longing centered around the stories of dancers Robin Cantrell and Sean Scantlebury, as they weave through encounters with four other dancers.
“It portrays a tangled web,” said Kelly.”I imagined it as an intersection where past, present and future desires exist simultaneously.”
Desire will premiere along with two other new ballets at 8pm on July 30th at the Lake Placid Center for the Arts, 17 Algonquin Drive. Reservations are required. Regular Tickets $12-$20.
